Del and Dianne Ruth, Owners	Del Ruth (Port Austin, MI native) and Dianne Ruth (Grosse Pointe, MI native) purchased the Castaways Beach Resort in 1998, and renamed it Breakers-on-the-Bay.  After extensive renovations and redecorating, Breakers’ opened its doors on July 1, 1999.  The rest is history. The very popular get-away Beach Hotel and Lakefront Restaurant is the destination of many Michigan tourists and loved by all for the friendly atmosphere, great cuisine, fabulous ambience, breathtaking sunsets and excellent service.  Del and Dianne are not absent owners, they live on site and are eager to meet you!
Kevin Terry, Sous Chef;  Dustin Tonn, Sous Chef; Danny Carson, Executive Chef	Executive Chef Danny Carson, a native of Mt. Pleasant, MI, is a graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary University and has been with Breakers’ for ten years as Executive Chef.  He has received many accolades from local, state and national publications for the fine foods he prepares from high-end appetizers, to house specialties and gourmet desserts.  Chef Danny serves only the freshest ingredients and highest quality meats and seafood.  Everything is made in-house, including salad dressings, sauces and demi’s.  And, if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, he will be happy to prepare it your way.  His talents are endless!  Enjoy and Bon Appétit!
